Dermal fillers are injectable substances used to add volume to areas of the face that have lost fullness. They are a non-surgical solution to wrinkles, sagging skin, and lines. Most fillers are primarily composed of hyaluronic acid which helps stimulate collagen production. Common ares of filler placement include the lips, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, cheeks, and under the eyes. Some swelling, bruising, redness may occur at the injection site. Results typically last around 6 months depending on the material used.
